Vehicle Detail
You're bidding on a custom 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with T-Tops and a built 383 Stroker Motor. A long list of modifications completed by a professional shop out of Manhattan, Kansas - Performance Machine, owned by the infamous Billy Graham (no not the Preacher). I purchased the car with all the performance parts completed. After purchasing the car I installed exhaust, a new windshield, tires, and a water pump, other than that the car is sound. Over the passed 8,000 miles: Block has been cleaned, including oil galleys & water passages New camshaft bearings & freeze plugs installed Block has been bored & finish honed .30 over New Eagle Crank shaft reground and polished (part standard size #103523750) Connecting Rods are reconditioned New Speed Pro Pistons (part #H423NCPX .030) Hasting Moly Piston Rings (part #2M139 .030) New Aluminum Silicon Rod and Main Bearings installed New Melling Camshaft (part #22320) New Melling Double Roller Timing Chain and gears (part # 3-163S) Heads are oven baked, shot blasted, magnafluxed, surfaced, valve job & new guides/seats are replaced new - valves are installed to height. Heads are installed & torqued to specifications. A Complete Set of Fel Pro Gaskets (part #EIS1071PT) New Oil Pump New hydraulic or hydraulic roller lifters installed Push rods and rockers installed and set This is a list that I received from the previous owner, I'm not a mechanic I assume everything is true, this car really flies. I use to have an 85' Fox Body that was dyno'd at 380HP - This Camaro has just as much go, if not more than my Mustang had, so I'm estimating close to 400HP (estimate). Vehicle Condition: T-Tops are good, no leaking. Dash is cracked but I have a new dash cover so you can't see the cracks, it looks decent. Newer Black & Yellow racing styled seats. New Carpet. Some yellow painting on the interior (looks okay). Custom made door panels (not the greatest looking but it's not terrible). The body doesn't have any rust on it. The car appears to have a cheap Maaco type of paint job. It's not the best, but could be better. This isn't a show car, but it's definitely a driver, if you're just looking for something to cruise in - this is the car for you. Keep in mind that the Stroker Motor alone runs close to $4,000 uninstalled. I have the reserve set pretty low compared to what I paid for the car. By the time you bought a Camaro, put a stroker in it, new tires, etc... You're looking at close to $8,000, you can own one today for about half of that, a real steal. I need the money to put into a Lotus that I just bought - which turned out to need a lot more work than was advertised. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I will answer them to the best of my abilities. I have a truck and trailer and can deliver the vehicle anywhere in the US for $0.90 per mile or otherwise agreed upon. Anyone with less than 5 feedback must contact me upon bidding, or your bid may be retracted.
