Vehicle Detail
I have a 2000 Ford Expedition, 4X4, with a Triton V8 and 3rd row seating. Truck runs and drives well, has new brakes and a few new brake lines. Interior is in need of a good cleaning, and has some burns ect in the seats. It has a cloth interior. Passenger side mirror is missing, but a brand new one comes with it. Truck needs trailing arms. I have driven it around this way, and probably would for a while personally but I would suggest they be replaced as they have significant rust. This is a common problem with these trucks. New trailing arms can be found in the $150 range here on ebay. 2 bolts each to change. Brakes need to be bled again, and ever since the lines were replaced the abs light is on. I beleive the abs system needs a special bleeding process. Check engine light comes on and off, I have not had that looked at. Some rust starting on the bottoms of the drivers side door, and rear wheel area. Truck has 170 something on it for miles, the odometer comes on and off for some reason, but even when it is off the miles add up, so the miles are accurate. Rear tires are decent, front dont have many miles left. These trucks seem to run forever, here is your chance to get into a nice SUV if your mechanical you could have it completely ready to go in a day. Please look at all photos they tell the story better than I can. Please note: This car was never my personal car, and as such I have never driven it other than in a parking lot. I am also not a mechanic, and therefore anything I say about the car should be considered a untrained opinion. I try to be as honest about the condition as possible, but my opinion and interpretation can be very different than yours. I STRONGLY suggest that any buyer should come look at the car in person, and form their own opinion. This car is sold strictly AS-IS without warranty of any kind!! Please be certain you understand what that means before contacting or bidding. Buyer is responsible for any and all transportation costs. I do not ship cars, if you need it shipped then I can assist your transporter at no additional fee, however the car must be paid for in full before it will be released to anyone. Again, Car is sold AS-IS. Thanks
