Vehicle Detail
1964 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe Two-Door Hardtop The Imperial was Chrysler's prestigious marque for decades beginning on its inception in 1955 as its own luxury model. This is a running example in need of restoration. It is a complete project car with extra parts. The brakes will need attention (brake booster replaced) and general restoration. The engine is strong. The car was last driven regularly in 2007. The car features its original stainless, body panels, vinyl top, drivetrain, and interior. Features include power windows, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, and working dual power seats. The whitewall radial tires are newer. The wheels and hubcaps are originals. We have original service manuals as well as many additional parts and chromed windshield interior garnish that will be included. This car was recently purchased from the widow of the long-time Texas owner. Enjoy our presentation, this car will be sold to the high bidder. Design cues of Engel are evident in these Chrysler Imperials. The split grille returned for 1964. The Imperial displayed a fake spare hump along with straight line styling. The body displays original sheetmetal in exceptional condition. The vinyl top needs to be replaced and the body painted. Under the hood is the factory 413 c.i. 4bbl. V8. This is a strong running engine. This car was driven as recently as 2007. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support are solid. The underbody and trunk pan are also in very good condition. This is a dry climate Chrysler. This was actually the fuel fill and a beautiful emblem. The original interior is remarkably intact. The power seats work and are in decent but worn original condition. The instruments and bright work is in good condition. The original radio is in place as well. The original VIN and trim plates are intact. Enjoy the remaining photos.
