Vehicle Detail
This Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab, 4x4, with 3.4 Liter V6 is in excellent condition. It will come with a camper shell and an aluminum bed storage box as shown in the photos. Note that the camper shell is not a perfect fit, but it works. It's made for a standard cab Toyota, and this is an extended cab truck. There is a slight gap right behind the back window. There is a rubber gasket that fills most of it, but it's not 100% water tight. Very little rain gets in. The rear door on the shell locks, comes with keys, and keeps the contents secure. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have another Toyota truck and I don't need two. I've owned this one for approximately three years and it's never given me a bit of trouble. The engine runs great and had it's timing belt replaced 60,000 miles ago, so it should be good for another 30,000 miles. I've changed the oil on a very regular basis, always at 3,000 miles. It doesn't burn or leak oil, or anything else. The 4 wheel drive engages, shifts, and drives fine. I just had the front brake discs turned, so braking is strong and smooth. A new Flow Master 50 muffler was installed less than a year ago. It has a nice sound to it, not as quiet as stock, but not loud either. The clutch was replaced around 40,000 miles ago and is in perfect working order. The Uniroyal 31x10.5, r15 tires are in good condition. They will probably need replaced in 10,000 miles or so, but not an immediate concern. The steel rims have freshly painted, and look nice and clean. It comes with Bushwhacker fender flares installed. The paint is nice too, all original. It's a 16 year old truck, so it has a few rock chips and door dings, but nothing that is very noticeable. It shines up very well. The pickup bed has been painted with Rustoleum Bed Liner. The rear bumper shows signs of use. I towed my small boat to the boat ramp about 2 miles from home, never did much long distance towing. The hitch pulled my 2000 lb. boat with no problem. The windshield has a decent rock chip in it, as shown in the photo. I had it "repaired" at a professional auto glass shop and it hasn't grown in the 3 years I've owned the truck. It's located low, near the center of the windshield and doesn't bother me. The interior is very clean, the seats have no stains or rips, no stains in the carpet. It comes with an Alpine AM/FM CD player that sounds great with the four stock speakers. Also included are the original jack and tire changing tools, as well as the owner's manual. This is a rust-free vehicle, no rust to be seen anywhere, underneath, inside, or out. It's always been a Southern truck as far as I know. I'm the 3rd owner and know the 2nd owner very well. You can be confident that this is one solid truck, and will give the new owner years and many miles of dependable service. Bid with confidence, see my 100% positive feedback rating. I require a $500 nonrefundable deposit at the time of bid closing, and the balance within one week of auction end. Cash or certified check are the required payment methods. Thank you. On Feb-27-12 at 06:52:56 PST, seller added the following information: I see that the vehicle history report indicates one accident. This occurred when the truck was very lightly tapped from the rear at a stop light. It resulted in no noticeable damage to the truck. The rear bumper already had a few small dents in it, as mentioned in the above description, and this "accident" didn't make the bumper any worse. The other car was a small compact and it only wrinkled it's hood. Again, there was no real damage to this truck's bumper, bumper mounts, or frame. On Feb-27-12 at 11:25:59 PST, seller added the following information: I will also add that this has always been a non-smoker vehicle. The ashtray and lighter are clean. I had a question about the heater and A/C. Both work great. No problems what-so-ever. The rear bumper is the original bumper and is shown in the photos. As mentioned above, no damage was incurred in the reported "accident". This truck is listed for sale elsewhere. I have the right to end the auction early if it sells.
