1971 MGB Roadster Well Preserved West Coast Car We are pleased to offer for sale an excellent, late 1971 MGB roadster that was sold new in Portland, Oregon. It does feature the later 1972 model year dash with the glovebox and central fresh air vents because it has a late 1971 production date. Fitted from new with period correct American Racing Libre 14X6 alloy wheels. They give it special eye appeal and also add high speed smoothness over the factory steel wheels. This car has had 3 owners and has lived quite a pampered life with excellent care, and seems to always have been protected in a garage. It comes complete with the original owner manual, warranty booklet and even the special warranty impression plate supplied with the car when new. It also has paperwork that documents a service history that covers decades. The car has been refinished only once, very nicely in the original orange color. It is a high quality job that is extremely smooth and glossy. The black interior complements the exterior paint and is in excellent condition with original pattern seats and door panels. Even the padded dash is original and remains un-cracked because it has not ever had extreme sun and heat exposure. This car has been fully serviced in our shop. It has been treated to new clutch hydraulics, new rear brakes, fluid changes and a full tune up to insure it will give many years of great service. *Note: Rollbar is now removed and a full service has been performed, so this car is now ready for long distance driving.
