1952 was the second year of production for the 300, only 2659 were made that year. It was top of the line, featuring a three liter overhead cam engine with twin carburators, four speed transmission, independant rear suspension with electric height adjustment, five band Telefunken radio, chassis lubricator, ect. Purchased in 1974, used ocasionally for about a year. Recently removed from my barn/garage after many years of storage. The engine runs, needs a head gasket. Frame is solid, no damage. Headlites, heater, radio, dash guages, clutch and transmission all work properly. All glass is good, no cracks or stars, including the rare (4) inside vent windows. The windshield has some delamination at the edges. Upholstry is also in good shape, no rips or holes. Areas of corrosion needing repair or replacement: f/pass. floor, trunk floor, rocker panels, roof edges, underside body rails, side trim. Gas tank needs cleaning, using portable tank in trunk. Foot brakes are inoperable, emergency brake works. Hood ornament is not original. Vehicle is not road worthy. Car is curently registered in my name, as a 1954 model, probably the year of import to the U.S. Mileage indicated is in kilometers, unknown if original.
