This turbo-diesel sedan is in very, very good condition inside and out, and The 1.9 liter turbo-diesel motor provides both ample power and excellent fuel economy. Its mated to an optional 6 speed DSG automatic transmission with a manual shift mode (Tiptronic). This Jetta also includes the $1600 Package 1: moonroof, heated seats and XM radio. This is a lifetime Florida car that hasn't been exposed to the road salt and rough conditions of northern roads. There are no notable dents or dings, and the paint shines like new all around. This is a rust-free Florida car. Autocheck shows no accident history or any other problems. Exterior features include alloy wheels. The interior is also in very, very good condition. There are no rips, holes, or tears in the "leatherette" seats. The Driver's seat has a power recline function. The all weather "TDI" floor mats are a nice addition - these sell for about $100 new. There's no sign that this car was ever smoked in - no smoke odor and no burn marks. The rear seat is also very nice. Rear passengers have a center armrest and their own A/C vents. You can fold down either or both of the rear seats if you need extra cargo area, and there is also a pass-thru to the trunk. This Jetta TDI has some nice convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; remote entry, cold air conditioning; tilt and telescopic wheel; AM/FM/XM/CD changer stereo; Cruise control, and more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. Safety features include dual air bags, front side air bags, curtain air bags, ESP stability and traction control and ABS. The 6 Speed DSG Tiptronic transmission is an automatic that lets you shift manually if you choose to. This VW also has a power glass moonroof with tilt and slide functions. The manual and original window sticker are with the car. There are also maintenance records with the car. Oil changes have been done regularly with synthetic oil and YES, THE TIMING BELT HAS BEEN CHANGED. The trunk is clean and very roomy. The 1.9 liter turbo diesel runs very well, and should continue to do so for a very, very long time. Original window-sticker fuel mileage was rated at 35/42, and has since been revised. REAL WORLD drivers are reporting an AVERAGE of 41 mpg at the official government fuel economy website. The Michelin Hydro-Edge tires are just about brand new.
