California Car, I am selling from an Estate where I have known the Austrian family for years. This car was their "baby". As noted elsewhere it is unrestored and therefore an excellent armature around which one could do a full restoration. It is newly painted Miami Blue and looks very sharp. Mechanically maintained by Dieter's German Motor Works in Menlo Park CA; New Master Cylinder, new turn signal switch, good tires all around. Upholstery is clean and supple - one bead has come loose on driver's left side - Radio is a Kenwood FM/AM Phillips Cassette w/dual 6" speakers added on a loose board in the rear of the passenger cabin. [easily removed]. Exterior needs new rubber gaskets at windows for appearance sake, but remains water-tight (through a car-wash for example). Windshield has 2 pits on passenger side. As the lady drivers aged they were prone to run in to things at low speeds; I do not have knowledge of any traffic accidents per se for this vehicle but have records of trips to the body shop on 3 occasions in the past 11 years with the maximum bill being $2,752 which doesn't buy too much at San Francisco Bay Area labor rates. There remain at least two small sites in the body work that have been painted over that would need attention if the car were restored. No rust to my knowledge and cursory inspection.
