***For Sale the Classic 1996 Chevy Impala SS*** For sale by original owner one very clean Chevy Impala SS.For those of you who are uninitiated as to the celeb status of this car, let me take a few moments to remark about this automobile The 1996 Impala SS was the last year and model manufactured with rear wheel drive The 1996 Impala SS hosts analog gauges including tachometer. The 1996 Impala SS is the only year of the three years made to feature the Automatic Shift on the center console. The 1996 Impala SS has the LT1 engine (350 cc/5.7 liter) This engine is bullet-proof period. These are some of the particulars of this car. I am the original owner, I paid 27K and change when purchased New. This car is completely STOCK and has never been modified ever. Everything about this car is Stock. The interior is all Leather and in very good condition. This Car has spent its lifetime parked in a heated Garage so the paint still looks great. This car has never been in any serious accidents, only the incidental fender rub or bumper scrapes. AM/FM CD player works well with no issues. Air Conditioning works, Heat works, everything works well because I have taken care of this car like it was my baby (it still is) If you are looking for a very clean example of this year and model.... this is it. The only issue I have is that the odometer is sometimes hard to read. ( a generic fault of all SS's) The engine bay is super clean inside and out. Oil changed religiously every 3K to 5K miles. This car will get 21 mpg on the freeway. Why am I selling you might ask? The wife is making me sell it because of all the room it takes up in the garage. This is one of the largest 4 door sedans on the market, even the rear seats are spacious and comfortable. Included is a full size spare (Aluminum rim) I prefer buyers to be in the area, however I will ship. This car also has a passive disable system which works with a computer chip on the key ring. Fresh tires... I had new tires installed last year 2011, they have a lot of tread left. I will ad more info later as needed.
