NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is an older restoration of a nice 65 Mustang. I would guess that it was restored 12 to 14 years ago. The car looks good. It does have chips in the pain, some rust bubbles, nothing real bad, and the drivers door sags a little. The converable top is in nice shape, top opens and latches nice. It has a nice convertable top cover as well, with all good snaps. No rips in it, or the top. All windows roll up and down nice. Interior is black Pony interior. It does have some GT options added but this was NOT a GT car. All seatbelts are in place. Their are a couple of small tears in the door panels where you grab them to close the door. I did notice that the passenger outside door window felt is missing. It has a nice dash, but a aftermarket tach was added to it and it was skrewed into the dash (dumb). The tach does work. This car was a 6 cylinder car but was switched to 289 some years back. I do not know how many miles are on the car, but it starts right up, no smoke and no weird noises, runs out good. It has a two barrel carb. It also has later model valve covers. I dont know what year of 289 it is but appears to be peiord correct to a mid 60's to mid to late 70's engine, but not for sure. I am not a Ford person. It also was switched from four lug to five lug suspenstion and has disc brakes on the front. It has very nice magnum wheels and new tires. Rims are in near perfect condition. It has nice wooden stearing wheel, GT lights in the grill. The car runs and drives nice. I took it out two weeks ago and drove it at highway speeds with no problems. Brakes work good and the transmission shifts good. All lights work and even the stock radio works. Door tag reads as follows: ( this is what i believe it reads, i have included a pic of the tag.) 65A Y 22 11B 71 1 6 5RO A184966 The body does have a few bubbles which i have included in the pics, they are at bottom of doors and fender, also a corner of one of the doors down low has a kink in it. Door opens and closed fine. The paint is good, but not perfect. It does have chips and small scratches and a couple of dings. No major damage. Bumpers are nice as is the grill and other chrome peices. It appears most of the trim was replaced at some time. All glass is good no cracks or chips. Overall the car looks very good it is nice for a driver car. It has only been driven three or four times in the last 6 years as its been in storage, dry and heated storage. It is not a "show" car but is nice driver. If you have questions please ask, dont assume. If you want someone to look at the car, do it before you bid and before the end of the auction. This is an auction, it cost money to list the car, dont bid if you dont want the car. I took some of the pics this last summer and then again this fall, nothing has changed on the car since the pictures have been taken. Buyer responable for all shipping cost. I can store car for up to 10 days at no extra cost, inside heated storage, after that it goes outside. It is currently stored inside as the weather here is raining all the time. I am also willing to drop the car at a shipper in Tacoma Washington, which is 80 miles from my house one way. I will charge 60.00 for dropping it off. I would rather have a shipper come to my place or close to it and i will drive it to them and let them load it. I am not a car dealer, i just have it for sale. I am not the orginial owner and dont have the cars history. I only know what i have listed, again come view the car if you have certain questions. I will try and add a pic of the top down, within a couple of days. I request a desposit of $1,000.00 within 24 hours of the closing of the auction by Pay-Pal. I request the remaining amount to sent by wire transfer to my bank within 5 working days or a check or cashiers check. The checks must clear before i will release the car. i will cancle the ad and re-list it if payment is not sent. My ebay rating speaks for itself, its 100% for a reason. I have sold several items on ebay with always happer buyers. thanks
