My background: I have an Associates degree from Ferris State University in automotive service and a Bachelors degree in automotive and heavy equipment management. I’m a Michigan State certified mechanic. I have 27 years experience in the automotive repair and restoration field. I own and operate a Pennzoil 10 minute oil change center as well as a used car lot at the same location. I inspect all of my vehicles from head to toe. I will fix any and all issues (if needed) on these vehicles before they are sold on my lot. I only sell issue free vehicles. I try very hard to only sell “1” owner vehicles in perfect shape needing nothing but a driver. I have a “1” owner 2003 Chevy Z-71 Tahoe 4x4 for sale. This suv has 174,000 original miles on it. The engine is a 5.3L (V-8) with an automatic transmission. Has newer front brakes, new tires, tune-up and all fluids have been flushed. Fully loaded with everything working mechanically as it should. Leather heated 6 way lumbar seats, onstar, bose stereo, rear a/c, heat and entertainment stereo. Adjustable brake and accellerator pedal. Moon roof, luggage rack, center console, pw, pl, power mirrors with turn signals, cc, tilt steering, steering wheel controls and c/d player. Has compass and temperature readout in the rear view mirror. I have had this Z-71 inspected from front to back. Everything has checked out perfectly with nothing needing replaced. ALL front end parts are tight. I had new tires installed and then a front end alignment. We have recently driven this tahoe to illinois and back to michigan. Ohio and back and then the mackinaw bridge and back. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this tahoe anywhere in the world. Since new this tahoe was bought and driven all over the u.s for family vacations. Engine and transmission runs and shifts like new. When i bought this vehicle i new it had some minor damage to the front passenger side due to sliding off the road and hitting a pole. I installed a new passenger side fender, front bumper, lower valance and rear bumper because of rust all over it, looks awesome. (These painted bumpers always rust on these Z-71 and i didn't want rust on one with the other being new so i replaced the rear bumper as well)! I used this vehicle for traveling to my sons (3) sports. I've driven over 10,000 miles in less than a year with not one issue. My son is now old enough where he rides a bus through the school system for school sports and i don't need this tahoe anymore. There is a ton of life left in this vehicle. I have these engine and transmissions coming into my quick lube with well over 300,000 miles on them still running strong!! Read my feedback-i don't hide anything and only sell top of the line vehicles. This suv is as nice as you will find anywhere. 4x4 is push button and works perfectly. Runs, shifts, drives and stops like new. Interior is nearly spotless. Exterior is in excellent shape with its normal chips and scratches (very few). The paint still shines like new.
