Up for auction today is my 1948 chevrolet fleetline aerosedan, Lack of interest, and another project are the reasons why im parting with the car.. The car has a 6 cylinder 235 w/ 3 on the tree trans, which runs good and shifts smooth( I dont know if its OG to the car), it does leak a little oil. The suspension has never been cut or altered, the rear leafs are good but the front springs are soft, i never replaced cause i was going w/ air ride suspension, The steering is good and the car drives straight. The brakes are drums all the way around, the brakes will need to be bled as the brake pedal goes soft and i have to pump them to stop..All the work has been done within the last couple of years, so its still fresh. The pictures speak for themselves as far as for the interior and the exterior, unfortunatly i put a quater size chip on the nose of the hood and it will need repainting/touched up as shown in the pic( i will try to have a matching quart of ready to spray paint before the end of auction)(if it sells), the paint job is a base coat/clear coat that will need to be buffed as u can see from the orange peel in some areas. The interior from carpet to headliner to trunk have all been done. The driver side door will need adjust and both doors need the weather stripping along w/ the running board rubber mat. The driver and passenger door glass will need replaced( which i have replacement glass that comes w/ the car) all other glass is good. The chrome on bumpers and the grill are driver quality, all other chrome accesories are nice. The electrical works fine, headlights,brights,brake lights,instrument panel, guages,wind shield wipers,the radio has power but it needs an antena(never tested)EVEN THE HEATER WORKS! The Fleetline has an OG FULTON VISOR, 15" POWDER COATED ARTILLERY WHEELS W/THE COKER 5/60 WHITE WALLS, PLUS A SPARE, BEUTY RINGS AND CAPS,TIRES ARE brand new (still have the stubbies on tires). Most of the pics are when i had the fleetline on wire wheels (also available if u prefer), I also have the fender skirts, the trim, the front wrap arounds, the hood ornament... I'm disclosing the good the bad and the ugly so there will be no suprises on my part, look at the pics, ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS AS U LIKE BEFORE BIDDING. My starting point is well below what i put in it already, and its a NO RESERVE AUCTION... My car is nice as it is, but like i said i just lost interest and it just sits in the garage collecting dust, The car is being sold locally so i reserve the right to end the auction at any time.. A $500.00 good faith non refundable deposit is due thru PAYPAL within 48hrs..
