Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1965 Mercedes 190. Gasoline engine that runs smooth after she warms up. The choke needs to be pulled out for about 2 minutes depending on the temperature outside. This is based on when it sits about 7 days. This car just needs some minor body work as shown in the picture and a paint job, if you decide to paint it. Runs excellent. Manual transmission 4 speed. Rides out really nice and never fails to start. Located in Virginia and the weather here is pretty mild for the most part. This car was in California until January 2007 and has been garaged since at least 2003 which is when I purchased it. When I purchased this car, it was being garaged but I am unsure of the history prior to viewing it. I do have manuals and several maintenance receipts. Even though it rides really good, the stering is a little loose. I have the new steering column and tie rods in the trunk. The car is driven 4 times per month just to keep the fluids running through the engine. Brakes are good, exhaust is good. Tires have about 1000 miles on them. Heater needs new blower motor or needs to be repaired. If you work on cars it could be something simple. I never had use for a heater so I never looked into it. The original Blaukumpt AM radio is still in the dash but does not work. It could be a wire or could be the radio. I do not work on that area of cars. Just minor maintenance and repairs from me. The seats and floors are all in excellent condition and show very little wear. Same story for the trunk it will look perfect with a little armor all on the mat. This is a solid, clean car. Order an inspection and you will learn that this is an excellent investment that is just a little time and/or a small additional investment from being almost perfect. If you purchase this vehicle you will have a car that overall has the potential to be a gem. There is not a lot to do on this car. It is as I said before, solid. I see other 190's on e-bay some are overpriced and others do not come close to this car in any way shape or form. If the 190 is your choice, this is the car and the price I expect to cover is absolutely fair. Keep bidding and you will see that the fairness in my expectations is warranted. This car has so much life left in it and it is very simple to self maintain if you only have a small amount of mechanical aptitude. It is a Mercedes with less than 80000 miles on it. It is 45 years old and the paint is original. Look at the door jambs and in the trunk. It is all original and operating flawlessly. It has just begun to run and will run for many many years to come. You will not find a better value. If you work on cars yourself, I am supplying the items that you "may" want to replace. If you do body and paint work or know someone who does, you are about $1000.00 away from having that gem. This also will depend on the quality of the paint job you choose to go with. Because there is so little that this car needs, the paint job can be much nicer with higher quality paint. I looked at the bids on the other nice blue 1966 190, it is a nice car. It has been painted and they are asking a ton for it. Bid on this car and the successful bidder will have a car that has the potential to be even nicer without spending 14000.00. I have 50 photos of this car that show more detail and can answer questions for the curious bidder. I can also take more pictures from a different settikg to show more angles and better views. My driveway is a little tight. Good luck bidding on this one. It is definitely worth it. I am listing this car locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
