Up for sale is this very rare classic, a 1980 Volkswagen DIESEL pickup truck that has been very well cared for by a single owner. Believe it or not, this pickup gets 50 miles to the gallon of diesel fuel. The oil has been changed every 3500 miles. It comes with a tow bar so you can tow it behind your RV as we did a few times for vacation. The diesel engine purrs like a kitten, starts right up, with a working glow plug system. Good luck bidding on this classic, very rare gem of German engineering. In response to some question I received, this pickup was owned by one man before me. I bought it from his widow. It has been in Oklahoma all its life. There is no rust at all on the frame or chassis. There are no rust holes on the body - only a few surface rust quarter-size and dime-size spots on the sides of the body. There are no dents on the pickup. It comes with factory air which is not working - only needs recharging with freon.
