An original GT/California Special (Marti Report available). CandyApple Red w/white GT/CS stripes. 351W/325 HP engine complete with Edlebrock RPM intake, Edelbrock 650CFM Thunder AVS carb, Hedman shorty headers, dual exhaust and correct rolled edge stainless tips. Refreshed C4 Auto with Torque converter upgrade. Upgraded A/C system by Vintage Air, 4-row HD radiator w/ billet reservoir, rebuilt original Ford power steering system, new suspension components (correct rear leafs, full front susp rebuild, 1" HD sway bar and end links, etc.), new shocks, and chrome export brace and Monte Carlo bar have been fitted. Car is equipped with power front disk brakes and rear drum. Working, original Lucas fog lights w/original interior switch, and halogen headlights w/relays. 8" rear end with 2:79 gears for low RPM highway cruising. Electric fuel pump w/return line & regulator, and A/FR meter and oxygen sensor installed. New battery and alternator, too. Fires up on first pull, runs fast, shifts smoothly, and stops firm and straight. Inside, custom JME gauge cluster with Auto Meter gauges and quartz clock. Shelby console with Auto Meter oil pressure and volt gauges. Lecarra wood/billet Cobra steering wheel on an Ididit tilt column, newer carpet, original type floor mats, and three point seat belts. Original deluxe belts in back. Pioneer AM/FM/CD w/ 4 Kenwood speakers. Parchment upholstery in very good shape, new kick plates installed. Original 14x6 argent styled-steel wheels with trim rings, GT center caps on 205/70 Cooper Cobra GT tires. New spare of same size also on new styled steel wheel. Paint is approximately 10 years old with some minor scratches and chips, but has a clear mirror like shine. Miscellaneous chrome pieces replaced (hood trim, rocker panels, wheel well moldings, etc.). Vehicle is mechanically sound with no leaks. Every light, switch and outlet works perfectly. This Mustang runs excellent, drives straight and true (no vibrations), and sounds as good as she looks.
