I know the 2 Troopers who drove this car and I personally know that it was very well cared for. This car has been driven hard and driven fast, if you are looking for a car that was driven to church on Sunday by somebody's grandmother, please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a flawless show car.... this is not the car for you!!! This car was in service when the Economy in New York State was flourishing and no expense was spared on its service. At 85,000 miles the whole drivetrain was replaced at the local GM dealer. Mechanically perfect at this point, a little TLC on the body could make this one hell of a show car. Unfortunately, due to multiple projects, I just don't have the time or energy to make her best of show!!!The New York State Police used a very limited number of these Camaros and they maintained them on a very rigorous maintenance schedule. I have the service history from the State Police on this car. This particular B4C was a test car for technology in Troop K, and it had many different types of equipment installed throughout its 10 years in service, including various generations of MDT (mobile data terminals). This Camaro has been in storage since 2007 since it was purchased at auction. It was just freshly serviced and is ready to roll. It does have some touched up scratches on the roof from the lighbar and holes in the dash and driver's area typical of a used police car. The car has not been detailed, it wash just washed when taken out of storage. The last two pictures are actual pictures of this exact car while in-service back in 1997.There is also a picture of the Original Title when owned by the New York State Police.Very Low Reserve!!!Please, Please, Please DO NOT BID if you do NOT have the money to buy this car. Banks will not give loans on a 1997 car, so make sure you have your funds ready to go. The last guy wanted me to take a trade after he won the auction and I do not want to take trades. Please Bid with Confidence and e-mail me or call me with any questions. Thanks, Joe 845-629-3711 On Jan-30-12 at 16:38:25 PST, seller added the following information: The Camaro sold on Ebay on January 13, 2012 for $6975.00 to a man who lived 5 hours away from me in the snow belt near Rochester NY. He could not pick up the Camaro due to heavy snow in his area, during the week proceeding the end of the auction. The buyer after week 2 could not follow through on the sale due to a personal family issue which occurred last week and he asked me if I would let him out of the sale due to his pending court appearance. I believe he was being honest and therefore I allowed him to cancel the sale. Please only bid if you plan on completing this sale. The Camaro is going to be sold due to the low reserve. Thanks
