This Mustang has been sitting since 1989 with 53000 original miles on the car. Normally 12000 miles yearly average are driven on cars. This is super low and not roll-over miles. This car is also loaded. Try finding convertible Mustangs with Factory A/C. That is not a usual option.Try taking you date in a convertible at 98 degrees in the summer. Thats a bit challenging. Not with Air though. This car also has Power Top, Power Brakes, Power steering. So lets continue..... The car was sitting in Alabama since 1989 for 23 years. the shed/barn covered it from the elements. The car has not run until yesterday when we put in a battery and jumped the car with fuel poured in the carb. The engine lit up nicely and a squirell nest blew out of the exhaust system. The car came from Marietta Georgia was sold there and moved with its owner to the Fla Panhandel. Then sold to the last owner in 85 driven into the barn in 89 and been at rest since. The good points are the body is straight, the interior is all there, the convertible looks great, the engine is loaded and complete, This is a 2 barren 302 Ci mated to an automatic so the misses can drive it to the store if desired. The engine had no strange sounds when started . The windows are roll-up and work well. The tires are from 1982 so they need replacing before use. This car will need the gas tank flushed and brakes gone thru, and a full service prior to driving it on the road again. The car rolls well so it can be transported. The color is a very pleasant off white and the seat bottoms are separating. the key switch has been sprayed and the key goes in and out but has nor released the tumblers yet. The trunk has its spare tire and is rust free. This car has no rust except for 3 spots. 1on the rear trunk from wet leaves sitting on the rear. and 2 spots on the driver door from rain sitting in the door. The rest of the car is nice. The paint is very old and could use a fresh repaint. This Mustang has dual exhaust. The vent on the passenger side is sitting in the trunk with the chrome trim and the clips to install it. The value of a loaded convertible mustang is 40 to 45K in mint condition. This car is half the price and a true low mileage original car. I understand the Ground Hog is prediction 6 more weeks of winter so spring is just around the corner. Its time to buy a convertible.
