Thanks for looking at my auction. I have a 1968 VW Beetle. I put a 1776 cc motor in it about 1500 miles ago. It has 041heads, 009 distributor, 90.5 piston and cylinders, 69 mm counterweighted crank, engle 110 cam, merged hideaway quiet muffler, deep oil sump, heater boxes, oil breather kit, and kadron carbs with electric chokes ( nice for starting on cold mornings) . The motor runs very well, but to me personally, I think it runs a little rich possibly rejetting the carbs to lean out the gas and air mixture would cure it,but I don't have the time nor the parts to do it now. The tires and wheels have about 2000 miles on them with a little curb rash on one of the front wheels. The interior is in stock decent condition. The headliner has some tears in the rear area, but never bothered me any. The trunk area is carpeted, there is not a radio, the horn doesn't work, needs a wiper dash switch, one head light ( low beam doesn't work). These are nothing major but wanted to mention.The exterior paint is in fair condition,looks ok from a distance,it worked for me. The floor plans are in fair condition, but I am including new pans with the sale. The passenger side heat channel needs a bottom plate repair panel that bolts to the pan, because the inside heater tube is still intact and in the pics it shows spray foam around the heater channel.. But I am including the repair piece that the right running board bolts to as well.I love driving this bug, but I have other projects that I am pursuing now,so my beetle needs a new home.The starting price is what you would have in the motor alone!$200 deposit due in 24 hours thru paypal,the balance due within 7 days upon pickup.thanks,happy bidding!
