This is a running 1967 Austin Taxi Cab powered by a Toyota R22 Motor and transmission. It is in fair condition with minimal rust and no dents. The paint is faded, but with an interesting patina that I didn't have the heart to paint over. The car could use a new carb (or a carb rebuild) as if you don't start it regularly it can be difficult. Run it often and it runs okay. There are suicide doors and right handed controls. It takes about 1 minute to get used to the right handed driving. Other than the motor, transmission, wiring and exhuast everything is original. Austin and Rolls Royce had many of the same parts, hence the great style. The tyres are brand new. The glass is all intact. The chrome is mostly there and in good shape. The hood should be painted. The lights, horn, turn signals, fan, and wipers all work. It smells like an antique, that great old car smell. There is no AC. Here is your chance to own a great advertisement vehicle or carnival ride or daily driver if you tinker with it a little. I wanted to use it to advertise my antique store, but never got around to it. The reserve price is very low.
