1979 Thunderbird Town Landau Wow, I cant even remember when was the last time Ive seen a 79 T Bird in this nice of shape, esp one this well optioned. Starting the list : T Tops / AC / Pw / PDL / PS / Tilt , the larger optional 351M mill and much more ! Now combine that with a garage kept, Az environment and you get the big picture, minimal if any rust on a rare 70s classic.This was the last yr for the Bird this size My guess less then 3% came with T tops and maybe 1% are still around. Factory Rear sway bar too and dual exhaust !! Recently New Starter and Radiator too.Runs and drives great for its age. Interior shows mild wear from over the years. Some of the plastic and weatherstripping is brittle from the Az heat. Interior shows some wear and tear but way above avg for a car this old in Az. Exterior: Even the factory single stage paint still looks pretty good. Most of it anyway. It has its share of nicks and scratches, but it is all original. You could probably even buff alot of it out and leave some of the patina. The hood has the worst scratches sort of hard to see. Its only original once , Id leave well enough alone.It does need a nice set of tires. If this car had a new set of tires Id drive it anywhere.Motor runs and drives great (like a small boat) but a dream to drive.Only noise I hear from under the hood is the air pump still has a small belt on it, and every so often you can hear the pump squeal. I may just remove the belt for now, its not really needed. Whats cool is All of the original stuff is still under the hood too like it was still 1979. Factory 15" alloy wheels are missing a few caps Its amazing how rust free this car is and no signs of any bondo or repair work in the last 30 yrs. (other then mild surface rust of course) - fair reserve - dont miss out and wish you had won it ! 86k Az mild miles that are Original according to AZ DOCs For a 31+ yr old AZ car, this is in amazing shape and runs as well as it looks. Some of the plastic and rubber of course is dry or cracked, and Dr side taillight lens has a break in it. If you have been waiting to buy a 70s T Bird , wait no longer and bid on this one before it flys the coupe ! hope you enjoyed our pics ! The pics dont lie , granted cars always look better in pics this car still looks great in person. I havent tuned it up but probably wouldnt hurt to do so soon and do an oil change.
