This auction is for a 1969 Mustang Fastback. I purchased this vehicle several years ago in basicly the condition you see it in today. I purchased a new business and have been unable to find the time to complete it and do not see having the time anytime soon. The car does not need much but with the hours I am putting in, and I could use the shop space, I have reluctently decided to let it go. This car was brought up from down south about ten years ago. The previous owner put a quarter panel on it due to a crease in the sheetmetal. I believe all the other sheetmetal to be original. The car was painted ( the original black) not long before I purchased it. Here is a list of the the things that were done to it or replaced- Motor was removed (302)and freshened with a larger cam, 4bbl intake and carb, and new distributorNew dual exhaustNew interior (gold is the original color)New door jamb moldingsNew GrillNew radiatorNew front suspension (still needs aligned)New brake hardware ( still needs bled) they do not work real well at the moment but I do move it aroundNew 215-50ZR17 front tires and 245-45ZR17 rear tires - Rims are also newNew bumpersThis is a rock solid southern car that does not need much to complete it. I would call it over 90% done. I have the new rocker moldings and hood trim. Most of what the car needs is detail work like gluing the door glass back in. Finish bolting in the monte carlo bar, bleed brakes, align it, put the interior trim back on. small stuff that is mostly just time comsuming. This car does have front and rear spoilers, and rear fold down seat. I am only aware of 2 pieces that would have to be purchased - a T handle for the shifter and Stereo. This car has so much potential to be an incredible car it is unreal. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. The mileage on the odometer is 69K not the 86K shown in the description. I contacted the previous owner and that is the odometer that was in the car when he purchased it. There is one small dent on the front of one of the fenders near the headlight bucket on the top and there are a couple of small scratches in the paint.
