1985 Honda 350X

Up for auction is a very nice 1985 Honda 350X that has quite low hours on it as you can tell by the pictures. Tank has been professionally painted and looks like new. ALL of the plastic is the original plastic that came with the bike when new. As normal the rear plastic does have a few scratches and light scuffs but for its age it is very nice with no cracks. The rear flap is there with one scratch on the side of it but no cracks or broken holding tabs. The front fender is excellent with a few minor scratches but no cracks. The tank shrouds are in excellent condition. The headlight housing is perfect and looks like brand new. ALL the controls are in excellent condition and the brake and clutch levers show very little wear which is a sign of a low hour machine. The motor and transmission are in excellent condition and the bike runs and shift great like most Honda's do. The carburetor is a mikuni 38mm and is not stock. It is larger then the stock carb and taller and consequently the air snorkel that goes from the frame tube to the air box does not fit properly, but does come with the bike. There is no air box lid. Has a Bassini pipe on it which sounds great and much better then the stock pipe. The wheels and tires are both original with the bike and as you can tell there lots of tread left on the tires. The wheels are in excellent condition but the insides of the wheels are sandblasted a little from being ridden at the dunes. The original stock tool box looks like new with no imperfections and comes with all the original tools and spanner wrench. Just to refresh, the only parts on this bike that are not original are the exhaust, the grips, and the carb. The rest of it is all original as it came from the factory and the original parts that came with particular bike. If you want to make it totally original you can find those parts on ebay for fairly cheap. This is a very nice 350X that will go up in value if it is kept in great shape like it is now. $200.00 due through paypal at auction close. The rest of the payment can be made by personal check but it will have to clear before bike can be picked up. Full payment is due 5 working days after auction end unless something else is arranged.
