1969 Honda

A great old barn find, or in this case, under the front porch find. According to the owner this bike was a wedding gift to him from Honda USA who he had done some consulting work for in the 1960's. It is completely original in all respects and includes some add on items such as the rear carry basket. It turns over freely and everything seems to work as it should. We did put some fresh gas in and attempted to start it but we are not getting a spark. We did have thoughts of a restoration but we just are not going to have the time to take on this project. It is better in the hands of a collector who has the time and experience with this model. The mileage is correct, and all the original paperwork is included in the sale. Transfer will be by transferable NYS registration as was the legal method of the time and a bill of sale to the new owner. Pick up and shipping will be the responsibility of the new owner. Post payment we will be happy to assist in crating and shipping for a reasonable fee. Figure a couple hundred to properly crate it. You can then get a freight quote from LandAir or one of the many others. We will including loading of the crate if we build you one. This is an exceptional and easily restorable scooter.
