Up for grabs is a 1962 Ford Econoline Van. It's Scooby Doo time! Great family van, use it to promote your business-look at all the blank canvas to have your company logo added! Haul motorcycles, make deliveries. Body has been blasted and had the minimal rust fixed. Re-painted with enamel white paint and a two stage green metallic stripe. The van looks good, but please know THIS IS A DRIVER, not a show vehicle. The inside floor has been coated with bed liner material, and the interior painted the same white as the outside. the Grille is a custom cut down '49 Ford car grille, with the 6 cylinder emblem on it. The pinstripes on the front are hand done, not plastic tape. The bumpers were not re-installed, but they are still available and I will let them go with the van if you want them. The seats are custom built Iron Ace bomber seats with hand sewn bottom cushions. The engine is believed to be the stock one, a 144 cid Six cylinder with three on the tree transmission. Engine runs good, the van drives good. Please note these vans were made to be in town delivery vans, it will run 65 mph but it is a work out for it. If you plan to drive it interstate speeds regularly you should consider changing the rear-end to a different gear. The radiator may need to be flushed or the thermostat changed, I have noticed it puked anti-freeze a couple of times but never ran hot. The brakes are good, but there appears to be a slight leak somewhere as the fluid drains down some. I have driven this van some since I got it, probably 100 miles, and it sat before I got it, so there are some things that will need to be taken care of as it gets driven more. I did clean the gas tank out, and it starts and runs fine. That being said, I would drive the vehicle daily. Does not have a radio, and the glove box door needs to be installed, I believe there is a bracket missing for it, but the door is there. Delivery available for $1.90 per mile, to your door.
