This is a BEAUTIFUL - NEARLY ALL ORIGINAL - 89,200 Original Miles!! 1987 Cadillac Allante Roadster that is RARE indeed as they only made 2,569 of them in 1987 ! You can now own a car that is getting hard to find, is rare, is almost COMPLETLEY ORIGINAL. The Allante was initially priced at $56,533 in 1987 dollars not including the large dealer markup that was common on the Allante' ! This was far above the price of any other contemporary Cadillac. The Cadillac Allanté was the first roadster for Cadillac with a removable aluminum hardtop along with a fabric fold down soft top. The 1987 Cadillac Allante was a stunning body style in 1987 and still is some 25 years later !! The body and the interior of the Allanté was designed and built in Turin, Italy by Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame). The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles from Italy in specially-equipped Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Cadillac's assembly plant in Hamtramck, Michigan. The bodies were then mated to the chassis at the Cadillac Assembly plant. This led to a few interesting nicknames, such as "The Flying Italian Cadillac" and "The world's longest assembly line". In my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this car. THIS IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !! It has the Original - Multi-port Fuel Injected - 4.1 Liter - (HT 4100) - V8 along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads and a tuned port intake manifold all from the factory !! The new roadster also showcased an independent front and rear strut-based suspension system. Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes were also standard. The engine is backed by a smooth "F7" four speed Automatic Transmission which also functions well. The BEAUTIFUL - ALL ORIGINAL - Saddle Leather Interior is in NICE condition with NICE - ORIGINAL - ten way power - Ricardo Saddle Leather Bucket seats, NICE original steering wheel, NICE original door panels, NICE original carpeting, NICE original digital / analog gauge clusters, NICE original dash, NICE original dash pad with NO CRACKS, Nice original sun visors with dual illuminated vanity mirrors and a NICE original headliner in the hardtop. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weather-stripping is still soft, supple and looks nearly new but its not. The ORIGINAL (YES THATS NOT A MISPRINT !!) Maroon exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with some small chips and imperfections showing but is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can see in the pictures. The Saddle Tan leather and dark brown interior and the contrasting Maroon exterior is a GREAT color combination Indeed ! How could you get any better !! Check out the original black convertible - fold down top which has the correct glass rear window. As you can see in the pictures this car comes with its BEAUTIFUL - ORIGINAL - color matched - Aluminum hard top which is in nice shape. This Car is a great runner and a real nice looker. This car is nicely equipped as you would expect, including factory automatic climate control system with working air conditioning - heater and defroster, power steering, power windows, power door locks, dual 10 way power front seat's/ with memory, fully adjustable head restraints, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, twilight headlight sentinel, dimming headlight sentinel, console mounted remote trunk lid release, motorized remote - heated exterior mirrors, delayed windshield wipers, power ABS brakes with FACTORY 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES, original front three point seat belts, exterior cornering lights, power deck lid pull down, original day / night rear view mirror, factory digital gauge package, trip odometer, factory theft deterrent system, headlight washers, rear window defroster in the hardtop, tinted windows, Bose/Delco Symphony Sound System Am Fm stereo cassette tape player, the original clock and a power antenna. This Cadillac Allante' has great looks and GREAT power with good gas mileage to boot! There are not many of these left on the roads that are this ORIGINAL and still this nice for sure ! It has a few items that it needs, Sun Visors need repair (wont stay up) small rust spot on LR Fender, Clearcoat on Front Bumper peeling. (see pictures) otherwise this Caddi is in Great Shape.
