It was from Arkansas originally and has been rust free its entire life, and has been in Indiana for only 5 yrs and has seen limited winter driving. Runs and drives excellent. The glow plugs and glow plug controller work great, I believe they were replaced about 18,000 mi ago. The truck has no problems starting at 10 degrees F. I did add a engine block heater to ease the cold starts but it is not necessary to get the truck started. I have spent a lot of time on this truck and it has been taken care of. The axles, lift, and rims and tires have been on the truck for about 10,000 mi. Before that the truck was in completely stock condition for a military M1009. The truck does still have all of the factory M1009 features except for the rear trailer plug has been converted to a 7 pin round socket. I had one of the alternators rebuilt within the last 5,000 mi and the batteries are 3 yrs old. I have had no major problems with the truck and regret having to part with it. With that being said I am totally confident in this truck. It is in great condition, especially for being 25 years old!!
