1995 jeep wrangler 6cyl 4.0l , 5 speed, 4x4, 175k+ miles (+ means still using as daily driver)(almost 176k) 3.55 gear ratios and posi rear - handles great in the snow! Runs and drives well. NJ Inspected till 3/2013! but I have owned it about 6 months earlier than when the inspection sticker was issued. Drove last winter through both snow storms on temp tags. Overall good condition. The good: - new cam, lifters, cam bolt set, head gasket, timing cover and oil pan gaskets - new 4WD actuator and actuator housing on front axle - new motor mounts - 3 months on new clutch w/ surfaced flywheel (all seals on trans done at this time) - fairly new top - new radiator - rear main seal, valve cover seal (good $100 rubber felpro one), and timing chain was replace right after I got the jeep. - solid tub and frame. Driver side foot area has extremely well made and installed patch panel. Properly welded, sealed, painted. -has larger 98up 4.0l intake and power steering pump The bad: - Needs tires. Front tires have a good amount of tread, the tread on the rear tires is ok at best and have uneven wear. All tires have dry rot. The uneven wear is from the jeep they wear on before. Drive as is or replace. - Front fenders are repainted and have small amount of bubble rust just above flares. - Windshield frame repainted, shows signs of bondo under paint, with one spot of bubble rust. - very small amount of paint fade on hood -dent on bottom of passengers door. Doors are off an other jeep. They match in color but they do not have the pinstriping and they have different keys. -slight dent in middle of hood from light contact with windshield frame (common on wranglers) Jeep looks very good even with body issues. Keep in mind jeep is not perfect by any means but is nice driver. It might be the jeep for you, it might not - only you can decide and after the end of this auction is not the time to decide. I paid 4600.00 for this jeep 1.5 years ago, not including the repairs I put into it. My reserve is a lot lower than that. Reason - I have bills and have to sell it. Plus I know times are tough for all and jeep is priced to sell.On Feb-01-12 at 10:20:28 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to add - When I changed the timing chain when I first got it I also changed the water pump. I also put an aftermarket exhaust manifold that has exspansion joints on it. It stops manifold cracks which are common with the factory manifold. The original factory on that was on this jeep was cracked. The jeep has a magnaflow cat and a new walker muffler. the exhaust has a louder tone to it than stock, but not too loud.
