Up for sale I am selling my beloved E-55 AMG Supercharged. I bought this car a few months ago with about 143-K miles where it was traded-in MASS for the new AMG and that is how I got it. I was going to keep this car but I got a great deal on a Porsche 996 so I have to let this one go even though I know I will regret it. I am a car dealer and have owned many performance/luxury cars... but nothing can compare to this car. Since I've owned it I put about 8K miles on the car. During that period I replaced the oil twice with Castrol Synthetic 0w-40 and also I put 2 brand new tires in the rear which triggered the "Tire Pres Monitor Reactivate" which could either be reset or sensor needs replacement. When I got the car it needed nothing. The previous owner took very good care of it and had it maintained properly and on time. Most of the miles on the car are highway miles. The 5.5L hand-built engine starts right up and it sounds healthy. The car deliver 469 horses at 6100 rpm and a 516 lb-ft torque. It is indeed very fast and powerful. The engine is bone stock, no modifications were ever done to it. The automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth through out all the gears. The car has the Airmatic air suspension which offers three modes, ranging from Comfort, to Sporting (soft compression/hard rebound damping) and Performance (hardest rebound and compression). The AMG-optimized suspension uses an Adaptive Damping System to continuously tune the suspension settings to enhance road holding and ride. Ride height is adjusted for speed and can be manually raised an inch to traverse rough spots, such as entering a dirt driveway. Looking at the exterior, the outside body is clean and well kept with a few chip rocks in front nose, but other than that the rest of the body is very clean. The inside is very clean as well. All the options works as they should. I have a clean title with no liens or loans.
