I have for sale a very rare early 98 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 12 Valve Cummins turbo Diesel Engine. This is perhaps one of the nicest 98 12 valves around. No rust! The body on this truck is nearly Imacculate! and has been de-badged (with the exception of the laramie badges behind the rear doors) for a nice clean look. The paint shines and is free of nearly any scratches there are two tiny dings in the passenger door where the 2500 badge used to be and one in the driverside rear door in wich was mostly poped out from the inside(I tried getting pictires of these, but they are so minor I had a hard time doing so). The insides of the doors are free of rust as well, but the pictures didnt turn out so well. Along the bottom couple inches is paint matched rock guard (professionally done, and done right) to prevent the need for mud flaps in preventing stone chips, due to being the same color, this is hardly noticable from any distance and even when close, it looks nice and professional. The interior is also nearly perfect, with the exception of a wear spot on the driver seat. The dash is NOT cracked like many of these trucks. The truck runs and drives perfect and has only 168K on it(I listed with 168,800 but its actually a little less but truck is in storage and wanted to be safe), no shakes, pulling, or rattles what so ever. It is an extended cab shortbed, (this is the only 12 valve cummins produced with 4 doors and a short bed). This truck needs nothing, and is ready to be driven anywhere. The only performace upgrade on this motor is a k&n intake for mileage(almost 19 daily driving, should do better on the highway). The following options all work perfect, heat, air conditioning, cruise, power windows, power locks, sun roof, 4x4, and cd player. It is pictured with a set of 35 inch tires in like new condition which are available instead for extra money upon pickup ($1000), otherwise the truck is being sold with the stock wheels and a set of very nice 285's with only 4,000 miles on them(these wheels and tires are pictured, just not on the truck) the truck still looks very impressive with these on it. The following things have been done to the truck within the last 7,000 miles: -New injection pump -New injectors -New tires -New front cover gasket(has minor seep, doesnt leave big puddle, mainly just leaves axle housing looking damp) -Transmission rebuild with shift kit and billet tripple disc converter (locks up very nicely)-2"lift kit -Pilliar guages including Trans temp(trans temp yet to be hooked up), pyrometer, and boost. I took pictures of the truck with 2 different cameras, one took clearer pictures but makes the color look a little lighter; the few pictures in which the paint is darker looking is the correct appearance of the color. I do not drive the truck in the winter, it is stored until spring or until sold. Thanks for looking!
