1965 Chrysler New Yorker V8 413 C.I. Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning (Pump Seems To Work Fine Have Not Tried To Recharge the system.) Heater, Wipers, Power Drivers Seat And All Lights Work On Car. Power Steering, Power 4 Wheel Drum Brakes. New Power Brake Booster, Master Cylinder, Alternator, Voltage Regulator, Shocks Front\Rear And Upper Control Arm Bushings, Original Carburetor Has Been Rebuilt. Car Has 3 Inch Lowering Blocks In The Rear\Front Is Torsion Bars. Wheels Are 14” Old Spokes (Somewhat Rusty)With Brand New Tires. Car Comes With The Original Rims And Hubcaps Which Are Also 14” So The Same Tires Could Be Used On Them As Well. Body: Roof Of The Car Is Painted Light Metallic Blue With Medium Silver Flake. Body Of Car Is In Primer With Custom Pinstriping, The Bodywork Is Good On This Car With Some Block Sanding You Could Spray The Car The Color Of Your Choice Or Leave As Is. Interior: Seats Are In Good Condition Slightly Faded From The Sun But No Rips Or Tears. Carpet Is Older But Has Been Died Black. Door Panels Have Been Died Black With Serape Covers Over The Armrests. Dash Is Cracked And Just Has A Serape Covering It. Headliner Is In Good Shape But Starting To Sag A Little (It Was Stitched With Thread To Keep The Sags Up.) All Windows Work Drivers Side Front Catches A Little But Works Fine Otherwise. Gas Guage Does Not Work….(needs new sending unit) Speedo Makes Some Noise Sometimes But Works. I Recently Replaced Both Rear Axle Seals (within 500 miles) So There Are No Axle Seal Leaks. The car does burn some oil but I've taken it on more than one long trip over 200 miles and its runs strong. What does NOT work on your car, like speedo, light, windows? Any chips on windows?? Is engine healthy w out noises or leaks? if you can send me more pictures, appreciate . Answer: There is some rust in the rocker panels but it is behind the rocker trim so you do not see it. All of the major rust on the body panels was cut out and replaced with new metal. As I said earlier the speedo can make some noise sometime and be a little jumpy but I am including another guage panel in the sale. The clock doesn't run but if you tap it the second hand will move so if it were to be taken out and cleaned it may function just fine. The glass on the car is all in really good shape no real issues stand out to me with it. The underside of the car has surface rust on it but I did not fine any holes or issues with the floor pans. The engine I believe has 199,000 miles on it but runs good and strong. The previous owner told me that he had a valve job done on it at somepoint in the cars life and also had a transmission put in it. You can see in the video that I posted that the transmission shifts well. It doesn't shift hard like a car with a shift kit....this car was meant to be a luxury cruiser back when it was made. The car does leak some engine oil as well as some transmission fluid. It also burns a little oil but nothing too major. Some new valve cover gaskets would help with the leaks.
