Vehicle Detail

extremely rare and impossible to find in this condition this was my dad's Willy's and he has had it parked since December of 1982 covered and taking shelter in a barn in rural western Nebraska. Super Hurricane 6 Cylinder, 3 Speed Manual Trans, 2 Stick transfer case, 50K original miles. We made sure the motor was not sized up, but that's as far as we got. I don't know if it runs, but we hooked a battery up and all the lights seem to work right. The brakes are not working either. It will need to be transported to your location. I acquired it from him with the thoughts of a 4 cylinder diesel conversion, as I own and operate a diesel repair shop near Omaha, Nebraska. We have continued to store the wagon here at my shop for the past couple years and I have lost interest in the project. there is virtually no rust on the body and very minimal surface rust on parts of the undercarriage. This is about as clean as they come for a 62, but its not perfect. Its a 50 year old truck that has been sitting for almost 30 years. I'm no expert on these units, so if you have any specific questions - please give me a call or send me an email. I have more pictures, but these are the best ones I have at the moment. Please contact us for more information at 402-502-6961. Thanks for looking! On Jan-20-12 at 09:42:31 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to clarify after speaking with a few bidders that this is a Station Wagon not a Panel Wagon. I'm sure you know from the pictures. This unit is also 4WD 4 wheel drive. Also commonly referred to as a Willys Jeep Wagon or Wagoneer - Like I stated in my first description I am not an expert on Willys but I really appreciate the kind folks willing to help me out with the sale. I really want to emphasize that is 100% bone stock. There has been zero aftermarket or other modifications done to this Willys. It is impossible to find one of these that someone hasn't hacked a 350 into. An unmolested jeep of any kind that's 50 years old just doesn't come on the block very often. I want to see this one go to a good home. It has been in my family for close to 50 years and I hate to see it go, but need to sell it. I also wanted to add that we are located 1 mile off I-80 so transport will be a breeze. We would be happy to help in any way we can with the shipping.
