1989 Honda CB

1989 Honda CB-1 / CB-400F. 27,329 miles. It pains me to sell this bike, as it is one of my all-time favorate Honda models, but finances have forced the issue. It is in nice shape as you can see with minimal cosmetic issues. The bike ran excellently and everything worked fine, but the carbs were removed to see if cleaning the slow jets would eliminate a small stumble at idle. Unfortunatly that was 4-5 years ago and the work was never completed. The slow speed jets have one side of the flat blade screwdriver slots broken away. They are the screw in type and are available/replaceable. A new Honda air filter is included. The Ontario brand muffler has some road rash, but not dented. Minor light corossion here and there, but the bike has never been power-washed since I've owned it (only wiped down). The battery has gone bad, but the front & rear brakes work properly and shouldn't need anything more than some fresh fluid ran through their systems. There is a small piece of black tape on the seat and assume it is covering a small hole or tear (never looked). The tank was just set on the bike for the pictures and not bolted down. Same goes for the seat and it was not "locked" down into it's normal position. Also, the tank has no dents and no reust inside. The person I purchased it from said he preferred and installed Yamaha turn signals. They are not completly straight in some photos, but were rotated straight in other pics.On Jan-19-12 at 16:13:15 PST, seller added the following information: For those that are asking if I tried to start the bike - No; the carbs were never rebuilt or reinstalled after removal. The items in the last two pictures will be included and packaged in a box (new air filter, air box, carbs/carb bowls & screws and main jets). The bike started instantly, shifted and ran great before the carbs were removed. It would just miss a bit at idle. That never stopped me from riding it, but I had intended to go in and see if I could cure it. The bike has been parked in my garage with a cover over it and not been touched for 4-5 years. The carbs could be cleaned & reinstalled and the bike will run great (with a new battery also).
