Up for auction is a hard to find FJ80 body Land Cruiser! Rare ALL BLACK exterior with Tan leather interior and Factory Chrome wheels, this was a very desirable combination back when these trucks were new and still is popular today. I have driven this truck almost 1000 miles since it has been in my possession and a good deal of those miles came from a road trip to Atlanta, GA. I have bought and sold many many cars and nothing I can think of gives the reliability of a Land Cruiser, regardless of its mileage! I have had this FJ80 serviced, brakes had recent pads but the rotors all needed to be surfaced so I completed that and the valve cover gasket had been leaking for some time and I rectified that issue as well. The Uniroyal tires are still bearing near 50% in the rear and about 40% in front. The paint on this Cruiser is above average with no indication from my paint meter that any panel has ever been painted. CARFAX and Auto Check are CLEAN and show NO damage history and my eyes are in agreement with those documents. All lights are working as well as the windows (replaced the passenger window motor), sunroof and cruise control. Underneath the truck looks to have NEVER been off the pavement. This Cruiser LEAKS NO FLUIDS and is garage kept. I have 1 key and one factory keyless entry remote for this Land Cruiser. THE CRITICAL EYE: It did spent some time in Ohio but the only evidence is some surface rust on the bolts under the truck. NO rust on the frame, I am being picky to even mention the bolts (this would also be average wear for a southern vehicle and is way above average for a northern vehicle). Do not shy away from this truck for fear of it being rusty..it is NOT. Inside the wood grain is in average condition and the leather seats show average wear for an FJ80. They do not have any holes or rips just worn leather. They are still pretty soft and could be repaired, covered or replaced depending on your intentional use for the Cruiser. They sit just fine for my needs. The chrome on the wheels is beginning to pit and flake. I just don't have to heart to remove this rare option, that will be up to the buyers discretion. The antenna mast doesn't retract but the motor still works. This is an awesome color combo on a FJ80 LC and the miles are 50K less than average. Nothing has been modified from stock on this example!
