THIS NO RESERVE AUCTION IS FOR THIS 1998 JAGUAR XJ8 WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THIS VEHICLE IS SHARP INSIDE OUT, BUT IT HAS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM, THIS JAGUAR XJ8L seems to be stuck in 4th gear. it goes in reverse fine, but when you put it in drive it revs up to about 2000 rpm and then jerks hard and drives off slow. but drives normal and smooth when speeds over 35 mph, it also says gearbox fault when the car jerks. i scaned it and got the following codes 1646,1722,1000. Trans expert says, it has bad A DRUM / TORQUE CONVERTER. Minor scratches or dings might exist here or there, minor dent exists on the right front corner as shown in picture.
