This car "sold ?" last week but the winner with a (0) feedback has never responded so now its time for my victory lap This may be one of the most honest auctions you will ever read. This is my sisters 97 Cavalier. I have been keeping this little car alive for 8 years. Its never had anything very big happen just little things like switches, charge the a/c, O2 sensor, tire blow out, blah, blah ,blah. On her way home from work a week ago it quit running and she pulled it to the side of the road. I came out like I always do and tried putting some gas in it just in case I could be so lucky. The fuel pump can be heard running in the tank but no luck. I winched it onto the trailer you see in the photo and brought it home. It cranks, has spark but must not be getting fuel for some reason. I no longer have the will to work on this car any more so I have bought her another car and am selling it. It may be something as easy as an injector or it may be as bad as a skipped timing belt but the one on the car isnt very old. either way I dont care. When running it drove and shifted out fine and made for decent daily transportation. now its time for what I call the good, the bad and the ugly part of the listing. THE GOOD; all the lights work inside and out, rear tires are new, battery is only a year old, the interior is in pretty good shape for it age, never been in a big wreck.All the glass is good, no water leaks. it has a lot of good parts that would keep another one alive. THE BAD: IT DOESN'T RUN, the gas guage quite working a year ago ( but the odometer does so you can fill up on time if you know 3rd grade math. Thank you Mrs Painter) the engine leaks oil from what is probably the the valve cover. THE UGLY: Face it this car was ugly on the show room floor, the left rear door has damage, the paint it faded and starting to peel on the roof Please save me from this thing by buying it whole other wise I will be forced to (GULP!) fix it or sell it off one piece at a time. I will deliver this car if the vehicle is paid for before I leave my house for $1.50 per loaded mile. Once the car is paid for I will give you my address and we will use google maps as the mileage calculator to determine the amount.
