The powerful but economical 4-cylinder 2.5L engine runs smooth at all speeds, idles smoothly and has plenty of power. The Automatic transmission shifts smoothly with no problems. The brakes, tires and exhaust are all good. Exhaust is quiet. Tires are matching. Vehicle drives straight down the road - excellent ride. Good on Gas! Oil changed. Ready to go. Winter ready. This car has some extra miles on the odometer but it performs in an excellent manner. Limited Powertrain warranty available for one year for $695. EXTERIOR APPEARANCE: This is a modern looking solid-bodied Subaru Outback. The deep blue paint shines new and only has minor imperfections normal with any used car. This is a solid bodied - dent free exterior. It is straight and put together. There are few small dings - one noted ding is on the drivers door (less than 1") photographed. A few scratches etc. The rear wheel wells have touched up paint and bubbling - photographed. There sre some stone chips. There is one touched up paint peel on the front of the hood - photographed. This is common on Subaru Outbacks. It is noticable when examining the car. Overall the car looks great despite the areas of the rear wheel wells. INTERIOR & COMFORT: The Subaru Outback is a roomy and comfortable vehicle with plenty of cargo room. This is a fully equipped vehicle. It has a comfortable ride. The seats, carpets and dash are all excellent. The interior is clean. Smells good - No foul odors. Looks like it has never been smoked in. Overall this is an excellent. interior with very few flaws. The dash, trim, and seats are excellent . Carpets are good - foot stains at drivers side and some minor staining elsehere. But overall good carpets. Has a comfortable ride. Heat and defroster work well. Has rear cargo shade and cargo mat. All options appear to work well.
