1969 Buick Riviera 2 dr 10,812k original miles documented on the AZ Title Story goes as such: Car was owned by an older couple. A few yrs after they bought the car it was hit on the RR quarter. The car was fixed at the local dealer, but ever since then, the car was parked and barely driven. They wouldnt sell it but they wouldnt drive it either, it was just too much car for an older couple. Loaded with power options youd expect to see in a Performance Luxury car like this from the late 60s ! Az has been hard on the interior and paint, but the cars has been sitting for about 25 yrs outside. 3 out of the 4 PW work but slow. Stock radio gone. Think the Power seats even work. Carb prob needs a rebuild as well as a good tune up. The motor fires up (but harder when its cold) and Ive driven the car around the neighborhood and up to the gas station. Brakes and trans feel okay. Electric fuel pump works, but not getting power like it should be. So we tapped into a wire on the parking lites for now for the fuel pump to work and help the car run for now. Tank was cleaned out last summer. Chrome and stainless on this car is in amazing shape and the car is 90% complete and original. This is probably one of the coolest and best looking model Rivieras built in the late 60s Id paint it all Silver Metallic with a Red interior and toss maybe some 20" wheels on it if I was going to restore it. How amazing would that look. Obviously this is not a restored car. Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. Remember: they arent making anymore :) Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain.
