Up for auction is a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible. This was a project started by someone and not finished. The car is in parts and I can't guarantee everything is there. The top is in tatters but does work. All windows roll up and down very easily. The windshield has a little wiper rash on the passenger side which likely can be repaired. I didn't see any cracks in any of the glass. It has an automatic transmission with a v8 which runs and yard drives. The pictures tell most of the story but i will try to answer any questions. Any one can inspect this car in person. It is located near Noble Il zip 62868. It has a clear title which probably should be run through the dealer at this location. On Jan-04-12 at 05:55:24 PST, seller added the following information: The tag on the door frame says it is a 352 with a cruise-o-matic. I will have pictures of the frame wednesday. I didn't mention that the back seat is gone. Sorry about that. I revised the description two days ago but it must not have gone through. Thanks On Jan-04-12 at 10:26:57 PST, seller added the following information: Pictures of the frame show considerable rust damage at rear suspension and also to floor and trunk pans. There is a lot of rust toward the rear. The top works but the switch does not. The motor starts and runs decent but I don't know what the actual condition is. The transmission seems to work ok but we did not drive it on the road. The engine tag is missing but on the front of the block is 66 352.
