Up for sale is possibly the nicest example of a Chevy LUV 4x4 Series-10 Mikado package in the country. It is all original not restored. It has 28,000 original miles. This truck is equipped with factory A/C. It was used as a show truck in the late 80's and 90's. It has been stored in a car collection over the past years and now in mine. The pictures should speak for themselves. The under carriage of the truck is as clean as the rest of the truck. It is still all factory under coated(I mean the entire truck. Body, Frame, everything.) The spare tire is the original BF Goodrich that came on these trucks. It has never touched the ground. The bed looks like it has never had anything ever even put in it. In the pictures it had a aftermarket radio. The original am radio comes with the truck and I will install it. The wheels have never been painted they are original. The trucks paint is original. I have included a picture of small dink on hood. Could possibly be removed by paintless dent person. Never driven in rain or bad weather if possible. No rust anywhere. This is a rare chance to own a fine example of an original museum quality Series-10 luv 4x4 Mikado. There are not any this nice around anymore. I had a paintless dent repair person look at them and he said no problem to rub out but the headliner would have to be partially taken down. I did not want to remove the headliner so if someone wins and want them repaired they can do this with paintless dent repair. They are very minor and not very noticableOn Dec-13-11 at 10:38:37 PST, seller added the following information: Upadte: I had a gentleman come and view this truck from the Dallas Area. He said he thought the hood of the truck had been repainted. I am not aware that the hood has been painted but have not owned since 1980. It did not discourage him from the truck he offered me cash on the spot which was over my researve price. As stated I will not end auction soon out of fairness to people bidding. I found his mothers number in the owners manuel and took a chance and called her. She said it was a high school graduation present for her son and gave me his number. His name is Jeff. He said he owned the truck for 23 years and it was kept in a carpeted heated and a/c garage. He and his dad showed cars together and he showed the truck. He said all the brake lines under the truck were always hand polished, the spare tire chain was polished and the entire underside was always detailed. He is trying to get the show wheels that he used to show the truck and also the leather bed cover. He said it was black with blue piping and a chevy emblem embossed on it. He said if he gets the wheels and cover from the neighbor he sold the truck to he will send them to me if I cover the shipping cost. I will do the same for the winning bidder. He and his dad still show hot rods together. His dad talked him into buying a street rod in 2003 and that is the only reason he sold the truck. He said he should have kept it.
