Vehicle Detail

I'm working on the Garage and the car would have to live outside if I haven't finished my shop project. I'd love to see it have a good home before the snow flies. Therefore the new price. I'm not doing this car a meaningful service at the moment. This Mark 9 Jaguar was built 1 December of 1959, and was dispatched from the Brown's Lane Facility in Coventry England on the 14th of December 1959. The Car was registered and listed as a 1960 model car. The car was originally cream with a light blue interior. Do you blame that the color was transferred. Currently the car is Burgundy over wine red with tan interior. The cars first owner was a Mr. Basche Miami, Florida. This car is a "kit" that I don't have the time (or funds at the time) to put together. (71 pages all together.) All the parts are there. I have invoices for $21,261, that were provided for the car, or were done for the restoration project. as is, inn part, the following: Rebuilt 3.8 liter engine All the metalastic bushings were replaced. Nisonger rebuilt instruments. Radiator cleaned and re finished. 1 new fuel pump (second needs new points.) I have all the invoices for the project and would happily provide the pile of paperwork to any serious purchaser. I acquired the car with the intention of finishing the car, ultimately including the up-grades I had the parts below, as a good solid driving car. I had an XK 120 that I had used and slowly refinished as I drove for over 100 thousand miles during 15 years. Having a stroke year before last and the slow economics has forced me to abandon this plan. While all the parts and pretty much the operating bits do what they should it all ought to be gone over. I'd certainly replace some of the hoses (The original owner used a couple of original hoses, a mistake,. But any one about to put any old car into service usually replaces the belts and houses as a mater of course. The body had been painted but not very well, so while the body (except for a bit of corrosion at the bottom of the doors ) is frighteningly solid and original it should be re-sprayed. (I always thought wanted to have it dark Blue with the tan interior.) Contact me with any details. I added a few more pictures with respond to some questions I had. If you need yet more send a note to me. To the best of my ability to the body there is no filler that was used. With the exception of the areas that have the bubbles are just starting and effect nothing except the door skin area only. As I said this is not a perfect car but is surprisingly solid and is a great foundation that provides all the parts,( mostly new or redone). The dusty areas in the frame and body are NOT rust. I would recommend brushing the uhderframing and give them another spray of the underframe for cosmetic reasons as much as any thing as much as anything else.On Jan-03-12 at 14:59:48 PST, seller added the following information: New Picture challenge. I've used the E-mail limit about the pictures. I have some more that were requested and I can do two things: 1. Write a memo obout the pictures that you would like to see. (A request of more interior pictures was requested.) 2. I can try to E-mail you some more pictures to my ebayATsasquaDesignDOTcom address. I don't know if this works but I can't think of any other easy way to get you some more information.
