1980 Mercedes Benz 300TD Wagon I am offering for sale my wonderful 1980 Mercedes Benz wagon. It has only 184,540 miles, which low mileage for a diesel, Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition. The exterior is in excellent condition. There are no dents or scratches. The paint looks extremely good, with virtually no parking lot dings. The aluminum wheels look like brand new, no curb rash, with new Michelin tires. Interior is in excellent condition also, as you can see in the pictures. There are no rips, tears or sagging in the seats. The carpets are in excellent condition and the wood looks like new. Even the power window switches look new. This car has been obviously well maintained. It shows.!!!!! AND No RUST. !!!!!!!!! this is a Rust Free California Car.!!!!!!! Mechanically this car is, also, in excellent condition. This wagon drives and handles beautifully. The self-leveling rear suspension has been serviced and works as it should. The transmission has been serviced and shifts like it should. The air conditioning is in excellent condition and has been recently serviced and recharged. All the power windows work, along with the door locks, power antenna and cruise control work as they should. This is a very handsome, spacious and useful vehicle. It’s strong, solid and extremely practical.. It drives very nicely and NO smoke. !!!!!! Best of all, it is economical to run. These cars get between 25 to 30 mpg. I have driven it between Colorado and California at 70-75 mph and got 28 mpg, incl thru the mountains. The car has been completely inspected mechanically. The following is a list of all the work completed within the last year by a certified Mercedes Benz mechanic. All drive belts in excellent condition. Hoses in excellent condition All new fuel filters. New oil change and filter. New air filter Valve adjustment Transmission recently serviced. New Front Brake pads. Rear pads in excellent condition. Brand NEW Michelin Tires, P195-70R14 in excellent condition w/ 80,000 mile w/ warranty thru Americas’ Tire/ Discount Tire. Painted Aluminum Wheels.!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful.!!!!!!!!!!! Front end alignment. No vacuum leaks anywhere!! All related items, operated by vacuum, work as they should. Door locks, gas lock. Rear axles and boots in excellent condition. Rear suspension in excellent condition. Dash is in excellent condition, incl. the wood trim, and even has the all dash screw covers. Like new interior.!!!!! Beautiful.!!!!!!!! All dash light and console bulbs have been checked and replaced as necessary All window switches are like new. Inspections welcome and encouraged. The Diesel is also an excellent candidate for bio diesel or waste vegetable oil conversion. That way you could drive it on a variety of alternative fuels like Bio diesel, vegetable oil or free waste oil recycled from restaurants.
