1990 Ford F250 XLT Lariat 8 bed extended cab Pick up truck You are considering a great running 1990 ford F250 Pickup truck. This truck runs great and had its transmission professionally rebuilt 11/29/2007 (have receipt) by Atlas Automotive which specializes in Transmissions. The engine is the largest you can get in the gasoline motor class as it is a 7.5L 460 cu inch v8 which runs great and turns on every time. This truck is a work truck and I used it as a tow truck truck attaching a car dolly to the hitch and was able to pull nearly anything with ease. This 4x4 pickup truck has the locking wheel when engaging 4 wheel drive and cannot be stopped in the snow and so would make a great plow truck, as a primary or secondary source of income.This truck needs the following or work needs to be done; Front end ball joints should be replaced (can still drive right now but needs to be done) Leaky rear gas tank I never go past half tank when filling and the front tank is not pumping gas could need new fuel pump this is the tank that is closest to the cab (as this truck has two tanks), Headlights not lighting up all the time could be harness problem because turn signal is not working right either. Truck does have a large amount of rust but this is a 1990 truck in Cleveland and northern Ohio too, where we do use salt for the roads. Passenger side power window does not work, probably need new window motor. Driver side mirror glass is out and needs to be replaced get it from the junk yard. Driver's side taillight housing has crack. The hood is secured by a pad lock as the locking mechanism is no longer there, but this part can be replaced with junkyard parts. Many if not all of this could be fixed with junkyard parts except I advise NEW Ball joints from the part store, NEW fuel pump from the parts store and NEW motor for the power window. Much of the work that I did or have done were with NEW PARTS or professionally rebuilt parts, because I wanted to make certain that it lasted longer and would not fail as fast. The work that either I had done... or have done myself; Transmission professionally rebuilt by Atlas in 2007. Install new Break booster, breaks and calipers new master cylinder instralled. New starter installed. New alternator installed. Replaced drive shaft. New radiator installed. Newer rear bumper installed.Used battery installed. This truck will come with diamond tool box that bolts onto the bed and have pad locks. I had this muffler replaced brand new a few years ago and so now it needs to be done again.
