Very reliable workhorse. Factory tow package was on the vehicle. We hauled a 5th wheel trailer with this truck which was close to max weight and we were having difficulty pulling it over mountains. Because this was our only vehicle we wanted to make it more reliable by adding a Banks Exhause, Banke Exhaust brake and Banks Transmission controller. This includes drivers column Boost, EGT and transmission tempeature gauges. After these were added we had no difficulty pulling over mountains. Actually the only time I had to slow down was pulling over the Tejon pass in California. But even pulling over the nations steepest freeway i only had to slow to 55. Usually it took them at highway speed. Going down hill with the exhaust brake makes it very easy to control with no chanse of run away because you burned up your brakes. Body is in good condition with one dent in the tailgate. Apperance only. Interior is in good condition. The only service issue we had was early on the power steering went out and have no problems with anything sence them. We have had no accidents with the vehicle. We purchased it used as a 2 year oldvehicle with less than 15000 miles at that time. We were very faithful at getting the vehicle serviced evry 3000 miles. We recently had the brakes serviced and thereis about 50% tread on the tires. Running boards installed by the Ford dealer. Reese 20K 5th wheel hitch and a tool box. Full sized bed with sprayed in liner.
