Would make one hell of a Holiday gift (even for yourself)! Adult driven show car. All stock. Questions welcomed -- inspection encouraged. Second time listing, lowered numbers -- wife put a "gun" to my head. I am the third owner of the car. It was originally purchased by a TV executive in CT who, when he retired, sold it to his friend, an older gentleman who lives in FL. He kept the car in a climate controlled airplane hanger and drove it from time to time around the air base. I purchased the car and trucked it to NY with the intention of using it as a Sunday driver and perhaps showing it -- I've never really done either.When I got the car, it had the original tires. I put high end Pirelli tires on it, but due to sitting, they developed flat spots. I'm told that driving it will round them out, but I have no knowledge of the truth of that statement. It has been run on synthetic oil only, and I'm aware of no other maintenance, as it is mechanically like new. It runs absolutely perfectly and everything works like new. It is loaded: leather, power everything, T-tops, etc. The inside is immaculate. The outside is near perfect. The car wasn't even cleaned for the photos (should of, I suppose)! Alloy wheels should be cleaned up a bit as well.The car comes with a cover, an extra power antenna because the prior owner thought that this would be the first thing to go (it has not) and he wanted a spare, and it has a cd changer in the trunk (only modification).The car needs a good cleaning (now collecting dust) a new battery and someone who will use/show and otherwise appreciate it. I have no time to enjoy it and it's taking up valuable space in my garage, irritating my wife. The linkage in the power door lock on the passenger side somehow became disconnected and that must be reattached as well. Other than that, it's like a new 24 year old car, ready to go. I can't imagine that there's a nicer, lower mileage '87 ZX in existence. It's a real head-turner.The reserve is one penny above the starting bid and I'd love to see it go to someone who will baby it for the many years it has left. Happy bidding!
