This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION This is a 1984 Mercedes 300 D with a straight 5 cylinder Turbo Diesel engine and an automatic transmission. It has a gray exterior with a brown interior. It has a straight body, with no rust, and it runs well. The engine is excellent, it does not smoke at all, and it starts right up. The transmission shifts hard when cold but shifts very nicely when the fluid warms up. The fluid and filter should be changed. The car needs new paint and interior work. The vacuum system has a leak in it which causes an improper function of the door locks and a run-on engine after the key is turned off. It is missing the first aid kit, spare tire, and front emblem. The car mostly needs cosmetic work, but has a solid foundation. The Mercedes Diesel’s are strong running cars and almost indestructible, and this car is equipped with a turbo diesel which is much quicker and responsive then the normal diesel vehicles. This car will run forever when it gets some service and cosmetic work. It will make a great daily driver.
