This auction is for an original 1958 Studebaker in as is condition. The car has rust in the floorboards, which is very typical of a vehicle of this age and type, but otherwise there is very little rust elsewhere. New weld-in floorboards are commercially available. The car runs and drives, but requires some level of mechanical restoration. It has the original 8 cyl Studebaker engine the 3 spd w/ overdrive manual trans that runs but seems to smoke a bit, completely new exhaust system from exhaust manifold back. All but one tire is in fair condition and the wheels have recently been painted. Interior upholstery fair and door panels are complete. It still has the original Studebaker AM radio and it works! The front window is cracked, but all other glass is intact. I have a clear Virginia title. Most of these cars were cut up and turned into hot rods, but this is a nice and extremely complete car that would be a perfect resto project for the Studebaker enthusiast. The balance must be made through paypal in advance or in cash at time of delivery. The vehicle will not leave until the balance has been paid and has cleared my bank (if other than cash). Buyer is responsible for any pickup delivery and/or shipping at buyers expense. Buyer must take delivery of the vehicle within 10-days from end of auction, unless other arrangements have been made with the seller. All sales are final, so ask questions before bidding.
