1975 Honda XL250

Very nice 1975 Honda XL250, no reserve. Starts easily, idles well, no smoke, strange noises etc. Transmission snaps firmly through all gears. All lights and controls function properly. Fuel system was recently serviced and included cleaning and flushing tank, rebuilding carburetor, new petcock, fuel line & clamps. Other new parts include air filter and throttle cables. The tires are also new Kenda dual sports with tubes. The aluminum lower fork tubes show some oxidation but the chrome on the uppers is excellent! A couple of minor tears on seat (see photo), light scratches on paint, small ding on tank (see photo) basically some of the small cosmetic imperfections you would expect but still very nice for a 36 year old motorcycle. Over-all a very nice, mechanically sound bike that would serve well on the street or trail. Please ask any question you like prior to bidding. Thank you and good luck! I can offer several shipping options for you to choose from: 1) I will crate the bike (totally enclosed) and load on your shippers truck from my commercial location. My crating fee is $175 and will include new ratcheting tie-downs that are yours to keep. My crates are professionally built using new materials. 2) I will deliver the bike to Forward Air in Cleveland and load it in one of their containers for a fee of only $75 that will include new ratcheting tie-downs and locks that will be yours to keep. You must make all the arrangements and pay Forward Air their fee before I deliver the bike. You MUST use their container. 3) There are several transportation services that will pickup and deliver door to door without crating. One that I have used with success is U-Ship, but there are many others. 4) I can crate the bike and ship to most any commercial location in the continental U.S for a maximum of $400. If you are serious about owning this bike I will be glad to provide you with an exact shipping price.You must be able to accept a semi-truck delivery or be willing to pick up from your nearest freight terminal. 5) You may make your own arrangements and I will assist you anyway I can on this end.
