My pain is truly your gain in this situation. After riding for over 40 years I just can’tphysically do it anymore. After a day ofriding my left knee fills with fluid and my elbows simply ache for daysafterwards. I will always love our sportand follow it with a passion, but I just can’t ride anymore. So…….. Here’s your chance to own aMeticulously maintained, Vet owned, Tricked out CRF 450R, with an unbelievableamount of performance enhancing components. If you are familiar with Honda’s CRF’s then you know that the ’09 wasthe year that the motor was hailed by many tests as brutally powerful but alacking top end. Each year since they have worked to reduce the “hit” of the’09 motor. I choose a different path, Ihad a CP High compression piston and kit installed and added the Yoshimura RS4complete system which results in the brutal hit of the bottom being matchedwith an incredible mid range and a top end that never stops. To get this power to the ground this bike hasa Hinson clutch system and equally important is the ability to handle thispower regardless of where & how you choose to ride, so I had FCR Suspensiondo their top of the line complete fork and shock set-up and re-valve which alsoincludes .48kg/mm fork springs and the high volume shock reservoir cap. Suspension set -up is for 188# rider. Bottom end rebuilt by Honda shop 3 rides ago: I have the work order and the receipt for$2575.75 something hit the left side of my case and cracked it, so I had tohave the entire motor tore down and a new left case installed, which meant allthe bearing and seals on the right side as well; and I had 3 gears in thetransmission also replaced as they were still good but showing some wear andsince the case was split that was the time to do it. I also had all the linkage bearings replacedwith Honda OEM bearings and the swing arm bearings replaced as well. I also had the fork seals replaced and thefluids changed, as I said all for $2616.00; just 3 rides ago approx 60 daysago. The valves were also checked and ingreat shape. This bike is the total package. If the buy it now is used I will also givethe bidder a Thor SVR “L” helmet ingreat shape and a set of gear. I also have all the oem spares: levers, muffler, chain andsprockets, brake lines etc. And a few Twin Air, airfilters also in great shapeand a brand new set of HD clutch springs I am going to start tell people this bike is availablelocally so, I reserve the right to end the auction early. I am also going to list this as pick up onlybut I will crate for $100 and ship for actual cost depending on where you live.
