Vehicle Detail
You know that dream where you are flying down the Autobahn in your Custom Candy Red 1968 Mustang with tubular suspension listening to Kraftwerk on your 6600 watt stereo and your fuel injected 302 just wants you to go faster? No? O, I guess that was just me. Well now that dream has almost bankrupted me, so it is time to sell this car at no reserve! There is over 20K in parts alone invested in this car, and probably twice that in shop labor, with around 5k miles put on it. Here is a list of some of the upgrades:House of Kolor Brandywine Red Kandy paint with Red Ice Pearl in the Clear, over a Nicely Massaged Rust free Southern California BodyNew Doorsill Plates and Window RubberBillet Grill and Hood pinsTotal Control Products Adjustable Front Coil Over Conversion with Adjustable Aluminum Tower Export BraceFlaming River Rack and Pinion SteeringFlaming River Tilt Steering ColumnFlaming River Billet Steering Wheel. The stereo can win sound contests with ease. People stop in their tracks and give the thumbs up when you drive by. I have had a hard time getting any decent pictures of it lately as we have been in a fog bank for the last week, but it really is a great looking car. I just got the car back from the mechanic, and it was only run long enough to break the cam in, then I drove it home with no problems, but today I noticed a tapping noise coming from the engine, plus it wouldn't idle well until it warmed up. The mechanic has taken the rest of the year off, and I need to sell the car before Christmas, so I am selling it with this issue. I know I won't get as much for it this way, but it will be a good buy for someone who can do their own mechanical work. I did a video of it running today, so I will try to get that posted. There is a new emergency brake handle installed on the center hump, but it needs hooked up still. The car is a factory A/C car, but a Vintage Air System still needs to be put in for air and heat. They are about 950 dollars. The wire for the Compressor to the computer is already there. I would also have the Door Panels Professionally done as they are not as nice as the rest of the car. The wheels are in very nice shape other than a small curb rash on the right front one. All of the lights work correctly, but the turn signals in the hood need hooked up. I just put a new sender for the speedometer in, but it will need set up to be accurate for the Dakota digital dash. All of the other readouts work correctly. The registration just ran out in November. I can't think of any other issues, but please write with any questions. The car has a Clear, Numbers matching Oregon State Title in my name. I will need a 500 dollar deposit by Paypal due at the close of the auction with the balance due by cash, cashiers check or bank transfer within 7 days. All checks will need two weeks to clear. As with any used car it is sold "as is" Thanks, TJ I couldn't get the video embedded, and you can't use links on Ebay, so if you go to You Tube and in the search box put in 1968 Mustang Fuel Injected Revving up showing digital gauges It will be the first one that pops upDoing a Google search with the above line will also work On Dec-10-11 at 20:49:41 PST, seller added the following information: Vehicle Transportation Tools powered by Shipping Price Estimator Delivery Zipcode: uShip is the first and largest auction- style marketplace for shipping and transportation services.
