Polished factory aluminum alloy wheels with almost new (very little tread wear) BF Goodrich P255/60 SR15 M+S 102S radials. Carpet and cloth seats show minor wear. History: THIS IS AN ARIZONA CAR! After final assembly at Bowling Green, KY, in September 1982, the car was delivered to Saguaro Chevrolet in Parker, Arizona. I have a copy of the original Chevrolet Invoice to the dealer. N. Smith of Parker, AZ, purchased the car from Saguaro Chevrolet in November 1982. J. Morrison of Scottsdale, AZ, then purchased the car from Holiday Oldsmobile in Scottsdale, AZ, in August 1985. It had 18,000 miles on it. It was then purchased from Morrison on March 30, 1989 by J. Alexander from Tuscon, AZ . It had 49,077 miles on it. It currently has 104,228 actual miles on it. I have all the meticulously kept maintenance records from 1989 to the present and I have the 1982 Chevrolet Shop Manual. Condition: This is a DEALER-MAINTAINED Corvette. Call Dennis Dosch, Service Supervisor at O’Rielly Chevrolet in Tucson. His phone number is (520) 571-2270. He will be happy to speak to you about this car since he knows it intimately from servicing it for the past 17 years. Only OEM and Genuine GM parts have been used. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. It runs well with no noticeable problems. Cosmetically, it is in better than good condition. It has the original paint that is still bright and shiny except for a few faded areas on the hood and rear spoiler. It has a slight (about three inches) gouge on the rubber front bumper lip, the rubber splash shield at the bottom of the front bumper needs to be replaced and the weather stripping is in okay condition, but otherwise the body shows little wear. Frame and birdcage has NO rust or corrosion. To my knowledge, the car has never been in an accident. It has NOT been raced, abused or modified in any manner. It has a straight body and a very clean straight frame. Personal Note: This car has been meticulously cared for mechanically and cosmetically. I don’t have to sell it, but I have little time for the car now. As you well know, Corvettes are meant to be run regularly, enjoyed and appreciated. I would prefer that it go to someone who is knowledgeable about and appreciates Corvettes. Keep in mind the Arizona-based history of this car as I just moved to FL in June, 2011 and had the car shipped here. If you need further information, please let me know.
